What decides your moving cost for AIIMS Guwahati transfers
We never quote fixed prices online — every move is different. These are the factors that decide the final written quote:
- Volume of goods — Number of rooms, bulky furniture and appliances decide the truck size and crew needed.
- Distance & route — Kilometres, highway vs hill/ghat sections, tolls and return-load availability.
- Packing type — Standard, premium multi-layer, or fragile-only packing — and whether you pack some items yourself.
- Car / bike transport — Adding a vehicle on the same truck changes space and carrier type (open vs closed).
- Floor & lift access — Ground floor with a lift vs higher floors by stairs at pickup and delivery.
- Transit insurance — Declared value of your household goods sets the insurance component.
- Season & date — Month-end, festival and monsoon periods affect truck availability and timelines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do AIIMS Guwahati faculty need IBA-empanelled movers for reimbursement?
No — AIIMS follows Central Government GFR (General Financial Rules) which requires a three-quotation comparison and a properly itemised GST invoice from a registered mover. IBA empanelment is NOT mandatory. If your specific AIIMS Accounts circular requires IBA-format billing, we can arrange the exact documentation via our founder's IBA-empanelled network partners — while you enjoy Jai Ambay's family-run service quality.
How do you handle medical reference books, journals and framed degrees?
We use double-layer corrugated cartons with moisture-resistant lining for books and journals. Framed degrees and citations are individually bubble-wrapped, corner-guarded and packed vertically in a dedicated carton labelled "Fragile — Framed Documents". Photographs captured for reimbursement audit and personal record.
Can you handle laptop, tablet and portable diagnostic instrument packing?
Yes — laptops, tablets, ultrasound probes, stethoscopes, otoscopes, portable ECG units and other medical instruments are packed with foam-in-place inserts and vibration-isolating pads. Devices carrying sensitive calibration (like portable spirometers or Doppler units) are ideally hand-carried by you — we advise on best practice for each item type.
Do you deliver directly to AIIMS Changsari faculty colony?
Yes — we handle the AIIMS colony gate entry, security coordination and quarter allotment paperwork. If your allotment is still pending on delivery day, we can also drop at a Guwahati transit residence and re-deliver to your final quarter within 15 days at no extra charge.
What is the typical 3 BHK move cost from AIIMS Guwahati to AIIMS Delhi?
We do not publish fixed prices — the final written quote depends on the volume of goods (1 RK to 3 BHK+), the distance and route, packing type, whether a car or bike travels on the same truck, floor and lift access, transit insurance value and the season. Charges depend on your load, distance and packing needs. Get a free, no-obligation quote: call or WhatsApp +91 81349 33195.
Can you handle transfers from AIIMS Delhi / Bhubaneswar / PGI INTO AIIMS Guwahati?
Yes — this is one of our fastest-growing service lines. We coordinate the destination end at Changsari — receive your consignment, verify inventory against the sender manifest, coordinate colony gate security and deliver to your AIIMS Guwahati quarter with the same standards.
